
International Seminar discusses new ways of communicating science, culture and democracy

The innumerable ways of communicating science in the contemporary world will be treated at the International Seminar “Communicate Science 2022: Democracy, Culture and Audiovisual”, in the period from May 13 to June 8 (always on the sixth fair), in the online format, live, for the YouTube channel of PPGCOM/UFMT – Post-Graduation Program in Communication and Power of the Federal University of Mato Grosso.
The Seminário will count with the participation of researchers from Portugal, Spain, Mexico and Brazil. The opening lecture will be on May 13, at 2:30 p.m., with the theme “Plataformização da Televisão Brasileira: Mediatech Companies”, with professor João Massarolo from the Federal University of São Carlos, and mediation by two professors Pedro Pinto de Oliveira and Benedito Dielcio Moreira.
The event is a realization of Grupo Multimundos, together with the Post-graduation Programs Studies of Contemporary Culture (ECCO), Communication and Power (PPGCOM), both of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), and the Nucleus of Contemporary Studies ( NEC), also gives UFMT.
Registration is free and is open until May 12, via link (click here). The interested party must submit the participation form to directly obtain the participation certificate. The certificates will be received by the participants with more than 60% participation in the activities of the event.
The lectures will always take place at the same time, at 2:30 p.m. Only on July 1st, with the theme “Science and public opinion: Differendo e Deliberação” will take place at 1:30 p.m., by Professor João Carlos Correia from the Universidade da Beira Interior de Portugal.
